A little noise heard all the way to Wall Street (Journal)

When I created this service, I didn’t expect to get the kind of response from our members that we’ve been getting. We’ve greatly appreciated both your praise and feedback. I also didn’t expect to get a call from the Wall Street Journal wanting to talk about our service, our members and eBay Live. I want to thank Debbie Imlay and Annette Whitefield for responding to our email and taking the time to speak with Mylene Mangalindan (WSJ) about their feelings towards eBay and the recent changes.

After speaking with Ms. Mangalindan, I realized that making some noise is not a bad thing. If this housewife can create a service that gets the attention of the Wall Street Journal, then collectively we can create enough noise to change eBay – or at least provide change to eBay ourselves through services such as RepXchange.

Thanks for your support and keep making noise!

I was looking forward to reading the Wall Street Journal article. Would you please provide a link to it here?

Thanks for all you are doing in this effort. I continue to refer people to your service.

Finally. So glad I found this site. Need to get the word around.

Someone who did something about this injustice. I applaud you and would like to help in any way I can. I use Vendio and suggested they create a service that is doing exactly what you are doing. The rep said, “Wow, that’s a really good idea - I’ll talk to the programmers about that”. You beat them to the punch.

I’m a powerseller, sell electronics, and have been on eBay for 9 years. Since the ‘change’ I’ve added every bad buyer experience to my blocked bidder list. Bad buyer = bribes for benefits not afforded in the listing with the threat of retaliatory negative feedback. We should setup as many guidelines as possible to assure that there are standards on the ID’s that are in the repxchange.com list, so the data is good.
